Hello my name is Natalie Onderick. I am a licensed professional counselor who has worked full time in the mental health field since 2007. I have specialized in working with children, teenagers, young adults, and families. I have experience working with a wide range of emotional and behavioral disorders including: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, trauma, adjustment disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and family systems. I spent over 13 years working in the field providing services such as BHRS/ wraparound, individual and group therapy at a child/adolescent partial hospitalization program, therapy in an emotional support program , family based mental health therapy, outpatient, and school based mental health therapy. I received my BA from Seton Hill University in Psychology and went on to receive my masters degree from IUP in Counselor Education. I am a certified secondary school counselor in Pennsylvania. Most recently, I completed a certificate of advanced graduate studies in clinical mental health counseling at Messiah University. My primary modalities of treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Systemic Family Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy. My focus is to help you identify and develop your individual goals in treatment. I will guide you to achieve those goals and find ways to better understand and overcome your barriers. I take a strength-based approach to provide a safe space for you to share your concerns.
