What to Expect
Therapy can be intimidating! At Good Thoughts it's our priority that your first session is all about making you feel comfortable and getting to know more about what brings you to counseling. We focus on the following during your first meeting:
Listening to your concerns and goals.
Asking questions about your symptoms, social connections, and family.
Answering questions about the therapeutic process, confidentiality and treatment approach.
We take things at your pace! There is never pressure to talk about anything you are not comfortable with.
