Georgia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor who has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. She has focused her career with children, adolescents, and adults that have experienced trauma, domestic violence and intimate partner violence (IPV). Georgia has extensive training in trauma therapy such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and TF-CBT. Along with these modalities, Georgia utilizes CBT and DBT to treat a person's individual goals and needs. Georgia has experience working with substance use disorders, mood disorders, as well as personality disorders, anger management, self harm, and stress management. Georgia is an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Georgia uses a warm, non-judgemental approach to help clients better understand their patterns of feeling, thinking, and behaving and to learn to cope and communicate in healthier ways.
