Christina Blevins, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Christina is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She has over 8 years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings such as residential, school-based, home-based, and outpatient. She has experience providing individual, family, and group therapy. Christina understands the importance of a comfortable and safe environment to allow for client's growth.  Christina's therapeutic approach utilizes a person-centered and strength-based approach. She utilizes various therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual client's goals and needs. This includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), play therapy, and utilizing expressive arts. Christina has experience working with mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and anger, as well as stress management, family conflict, self-injurious behavior, trauma, and self-esteem. Christina builds a safe environment that promotes healing with each client while also challenging them to become the best version of themselves.


Christina was born in Pittsburgh but grew up in Connecticut. She received her Bachelors in Psychology from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island. She then returned to Pittsburgh and received her Masters Degree in Professional Counseling at Carlow University. Christina enjoys music, exercising, dogs, movies, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
